Very into this top. A great spring blazer and adding some sparkle to spring!...
Hi hi friends! This week has felt a little overwhelming (all good things ~ but just a lot at once!)… which always makes me feel stuck. Do you get that way too?! T is the best at calming me down and reminding me to tackle one thing at a time. So I’m keeping today’s 5 Things extra short and sweet! And channeling all of the calming happy spring vibes. Oh and the wisteria is blooming outside of my kitchen window and bringing all of the joy!
xx
Okay first, this top. I mentioned it previously but I’m just really excited about it after styling a few ways. I know you’ll love it too! I thought about it for sometime as the price is a little higher than I wanted to spend but it’s one of those elevated styles that I’ve been craving / wanting in my rotation. It’s a cool alternative to a vest top and a twist on a classic. Since I’m shorter it’s one that I will need to wear with heels to give some elongation… but if you’re even just a few inches taller than me it would look even better on you! I think (depending on the dress code) it would be a great one for work / meetings too.
I’m trying to be better about planning my looks ahead of time and tried on a few options for an upcoming lunch ~ including this blazer that was sent to me recently from Aligne. (A cool minimal brand at a nice price point to keep on your radar if it isn’t already.) It’s a great light weight jacket option for spring.
* I’m wearing the UK 6 and it’s still pretty oversized on me fyi
Denim shirts over everything lately (worn with this skirt above). It’s the easiest spring layer. *a few more sizes available here
I’ve been asked a few times about my Alaïa flats… and to be honest I haven’t really had much of a chance to wear them (we’ve had so much rain!) … and I was sort of regretting buying. But the weather is warming up so I’m thinking I’ll have more chances to wear and gosh they are really fun / cool.
I was putting this lip gloss on the other day and thought oh I need to share! It’s another Westman Atelier lip balm rec for you ~ if you haven’t tried… I really like Biscuit for everyday. One coat is great for a hint of color and two coats for a deeper beige is nice for evening. (Nana is similar too).
I’ve been really curious to try some lip stuff from Westman Atelier because I, like everyone else, love the tinted drops. And don’t regret the Alaias, they’re so cool!
