That spring energy is in the air this weekend and it’s making me so happy! I spent the weekend in San Francisco with an inspiring group of women (also the ideal staycation at my sister’s house!) ~ conversations and style that filled my cup up. So much so that I wanted to send a quick Sunday hello with a few things on my mind…
Have you seen A Complete Unknown yet?! If you grew up with Bob Dylan music playing around your house as well… you’ll love it. I haven’t been instantly transported into a movie like that in a long time. Timothée Chalamet’s voice (!!) and all of the music… New York in the 60s… and of course I’m still thinking about the fashion. Those vintage Ray-Ban’s, suede and leather jackets. A few of you told me these sunglasses were a must and this movie made me finally pull the trigger. I agree, they’re classic but feel unique too. I went with the brown and gold… they’re really good!! And also great for smaller, narrow faces.
Craving and pulling out my spring whites and ivory everything! I saw a number of chic women out and about in their white denim this weekend and when in doubt, white, ecru and those creamy ivory tones just always feel right this time of year. I’m craving a creamy, light spring color palette and pulled together this above mood. Also, all of the ivory bags! I saw this Olivia Khaite bag in white while popping into Hero Shop this weekend and swooned. Someone needs it!
I’ve been grabbing for my white Jamie Haller loafers all week. They’re sold out ~ but I think these are both perfect spring flat options if you’re in the market: the Jaime Haller Chukkas (all of my Jaime Haller loafers are beyond comfy… also avail on Shopbop)… which I’m picturing with a great pair of Levi’s (another good lighter spring wash). And I saw these Freda Salvador Woven Ballet Flats this weekend and they’re even better in person. You truly can’t go wrong with both brands as far as quality and comfort.

I love a little lace tank like this one for layering. Dôen always does the prettiest vintage-like details ~ I’ve worn it everyday this weekend. (Admittedly I packed very light so it was my only top option!). But it was perfect to wear for a conference on Friday (with an older Ulla skirt) and later that evening out to dinner (swapping my skirt for silky Vince pants and my white Jamie Haller loafers). I also wore it out last night to pizza with the fam with denim and this Ulla Johnson jacket. Another great spring jacket option!
If you’re in the market for a great simple gold chain I love this Jane Pope box chain. I went with the 16” which is a nice length for layering with other necklaces. But the longer 20” would be a nice option if you’re looking to put charms on it. It has a nice weight to it and is even prettier in person!
My suede bag is the medium size Park Tote ~ available in the larger size here, the smaller size, medium in leather and on The Real Real here… which is actually where I found mine! And Cos has a good buttermilk tote save option.
The silky Vince pants are old right? I’d love an ivory silk pant. If you think they still make them, could you share the style? Thanks.
