You know this by now but I basically swap the same pieces multiple days in a row. This just makes my life easier and also if I love something… I’m all for repeating it.
My kids get out for spring break today but it’s feeling more like winter break with all the gray and rainy days we’ve had. SO I’ve been pulling for the browns and blacks again. Not very exciting but I am trying to mix in lighter / creamy layers underneath.
Not that I’m doing anything interesting in the least bit this week with my styling… it’s rather basic (I almost didn’t share these) ~ but what I am challenging myself to do is incorporate some older pieces that haven’t been getting as much love. Maybe you want to try this too? This is also helpful before committing to buying anything new.
Because personally I’m really craving a spring bag, so I’ve been challenging myself to use some of my older bags first to see what is actually missing / I would use the most.
The older piece I pulled out this week was my brown Celine Box Bag. A brown / camel bag feels right for this weather.
I have always been an old Celine fan girl. I love the classic box bags and this one I bought in Paris with T (while pregnant with Willow a little over 5 years ago) so it has some special memories tied to it.
You can find Classic Box Bags easily on The Real Real. Some have scratches but personally I think that makes them cooler / gives a well-loved look.
Blazer (on major sale now here). Leset Sweater and Tee. Vintage Levi’s. Celine Box Bag. Sunglasses.
My Victoria Beckham blazer was a sale find from last year but I was excited to find it on even more of a major sale here. It’s the first piece I’ve owned from Victoria Beckham’s line and made me very impressed with the quality and design.
Sizing Info: I am wearing the smallest size, 0, and it’s quite oversized on me
Jacket. Tee. Sweater is Jenni Kayne (*ALICIA15). Sneakers. B Sides Jeans (older, here in blue)
Someone asked for cropped sweater styles on IG ~ and I really like where this Jenni Kayne cardi hits.
As well as this Leset one. A perfect lightweight spring knit.
La Ligne also has this one that is similar (you can use code: *ALICIA10 ~ through the end of March)
I’ll keep a lookout and let you know if I come across any others that might be good for spring.
Dinner date with T.
Walking my two to school.
Toteme Jacket (a most worn rainy day hero of mine for 3/4 years now ~ here it is in black… runs large, I wear XXS).
And these leggings and sneakers have been my true most worn spring pieces so far ha! I actually just bought these sneakers for my Nana because she was complaining about her knees. Super cushiony! Pricey but if you’re a big runner / walker ~ 100% worth it. I’m all for saving my old lady knees these days.
Volunteering in Rex’s Class.
White + Warren Cardigan. The Row Boots (I’ve owned for a couple years now and you know this but I live in mine).
Love that you decided to share! I get 200% more inspiration from this than over-styled reels on insta. So thank you 🥰
Love the VB blazer. I noticed that it does not have buttons on the cuffs. Does it need to be brought to the tailor or is that the lewk?
