A Pre-Loved Treasure Hunt... Inspired By The Fall Pieces I’m Most Excited To Pull Back Out
Mixing | Old with Modern
First ~ a huge thank you for supporting my paid posts here!! I’ve gained some new followers recently and I’m so happy you found me. The main reason I wanted to finally make the jump over to Substack was to share how I rewear older pieces and to inspire you to do the same… while still supporting the brands I love… small and vintage too… (and maintaining this as a business / taking on less sponsorships). So it truly means so much to me! This was one of my favorite posts to pull together as this is exactly how I like to think about my own personal style… a mix of older and classic staples with a modern feel. xx
A Pre-Loved Fall Treasure Hunt |
The most interesting personal style always has a mix of treasured pieces… old with new in a modern way. The perfect lived in faded blue Levi’s. The leather jacket that just gets more buttery soft with wear … family heirloom jewels paired with something you found while traveling. The base of my wardrobe is very classic and rather simple (minimal leaning) but fall always excites me the most… and is my favorite season to pull back out these staples ~ and mix in those rich suedes and cozy textures.
I’m sure we all have these fall staples in our closest already… but I went down a rabbit hole on The Real Real and rounded-up some fall gems… inspired by the most worn pieces from my own closet ~ like these boots (and in python), one of my favorite bags from Khaite in a beautiful blue (I own in gray) and the belt I grab for the most when I want to dress up my denim.
