I thought this might be fun ~ let me know if you’d like to see more of these types of quick edits? Sharing a few gems I was swooning over this week… here’s what instantly caught my eye from the new arrivals on a few sites:
Madewell: This is the kind of top I would live in during the summer with shorts since I love a slight cropped fit. This ones hits at just the right length.
Moda Operandi: If you have an event browse Moda’s Event Edit. Moda always sparks ideas for me, has the most fashion forward dress edit (but also a mix of lower price points too which is nice) and is the best for brand discovery. This week this top sent me down a rabbit hole to Third Form ~ another great brand to check out for event dresses. The price points feel better too (under $300). And in new arrival swoons: these Toteme suede mules are dreamy and a classic and perfect. And I already shared but if you missed it ~ this dreamy floral swimsuit!
Net-A-Porter: This swimsuit has me dreaming of a summer vacay. For more beat the heat dressing ~ this is an ideal summer linen little white mini (and this lbd too ~ which also comes in a classic midi). This skirt jumped out to me… not my usual but I crave more of those fun pieces during these warmer months.
Shopbop: I instantly added these earrings from Jenny Bird (which remind me of my Lie Studio hoops that were a most worn for me over the past year for sure) to my Shopbop Hearts.
St. Agni: another dreamy event dress option! White might be hard but silver!
Varley: All about the comfort ~ if you’re needing summer tennis wear this is the cutest new collection. Varley is just THE comfiest. I’ve been wearing this hat a lot. This half zip will change your life in the pullover lounge department.

My mom used to always say even as a young girl I could walk into any store and find the best pieces (mom’s are biased so you know, what I liked) within minutes. I’m actually a speed shopper (online too) ~ I could be in and out of Wet Seal in a few minutes with some winners. I was always selective ~ never a big haul but instead a few key Wet Seal gems to get me through that high school year.
For as long as I can remember I’ve had an innate knowing if I like something (for myself) or not. Our taste, what we’re into and style evolves with us as we age but honing in on editing is really key, and something we can all work on doing.
I’ll also never forget when I was working at Elle during my New York days (if you didn’t know I was the Fashion / Accessories Editor of Elle.com)… my boss
