Pre-Fall Leaning Style Notes

A pre-fall mood board, early trend notes and the denim silhouette I'm craving...

San Francisco’s chillier July temps have my mind on pre-fall. I’m also sartorially confused because next week we’re headed to Mexico for some family beach time and after living in denim and a leather jacket these past a few weeks I can’t quite get my mind around a bikini yet. ;P Anyway!, the looks in my brain are fall-leaning at the moment… or should I say city meets summer… beach minimal?! It’s actually so interesting to see this shift in what I’m wanting to wear just being in a bigger city for an extended amount of time (and much cooler weather)… and living out of a suitcase with a minimal capsule to work with. Honestly, it has just reiterated for me that I truly feel the most me in a tee, denim and leather jacket! As I get older I just want the staples but better quality, elevated versions… brands I love that make me feel good.

I pulled together some of my recent saves when my kids had downtime playing with their cousins this week that kind of ties together where my mind is! Whether it’s cooler where you are or you’re sweating just thinking about fall clothing… ha, I think there’s a little something for everyone here hopefully.
