A quick round-up of notable mid-June things I’ve been wearing / loving lately!
This shirt is breathing a new life to my older summer skirts and pants (the sleeves make it feel a bit more unique and the fit is really flattering)! And the same goes with this bubble top, also from By Malene Birger (more sizes and in black here). It’s airy for summer nights and gives just the right amount of volume to make it interesting.
In other summer tees and tanks ~ if you’re looking for the basics, I’ve shared all of these before but this tank, this tank and this one have been my most worn staples.
I’m really into Liffner’s new bucket bags — especially in the green lizard-effect!!
Wearing | Older Isabel Marant Caftan (similar vibe and this one too)
When summer clothing is minimal I lean on layering my jewelry for interest. Smith & Mara dropped a small collection of beaded necklaces and I’m especially into the natural labradorite stones with a freshwater pearl. Also layering with it: my Jane Pope Box Chain… Foundrae and Jennifer Fisher charms.
Okay I have another amazingly comfy bra brand for you to know: EBY. They’re designed with a silicone support system (no uncomfortable underwire) that supports and lifts. The Relief Bra and Bralettes are some of their top sellers if you need extra support. I went with their sheer bralette which is a style I’ve been wearing the most under tanks and tees and find it is a nice no show bra option for summer — chic, breathable, and unbelievably comfortable.
A Few Beauty Things Of Note…
After a wellness week away spent with Oak Essentials at the beginning of the month and a whole group of beauty editors… there was a lot of beauty chat. I quizzed everyone on what facial spfs they liked the best and a fan fave was: isClinical’s spf (which I immediately bought on the spot because I have become a super fan of their face wash). Turns out, it’s amazing... blends in really nicely and doesn’t leave a residue / isn’t greasy. I went with the tinted but I think next time I’ll just order the transparent. Also, it’s spf 50!!
Another skincare line everyone was raving about (I have only tried a few products but have also liked everything I tried): Sofia Pavit. The Mandelic Clearing Serum is great for clearing up breakouts. I had some breakouts after our trip to Cabo and this cleared everything right up. It’s nice because it’s really calming and hydrating.
My girlfriends and I have been chatting about vitamins and what everyone is taking… (um, this is 40?). One supplement that I do take daily for skin / hair / nails… is the Holi (Mane) collagen. I put the powder in my coffee (it is tasteless and I’ve grown to really love the froth it gives my black coffee). I’ve been taking it for a couple years now and notice a difference in my skin (gives a hydration and glow) when taking regularly. Any fave supplements?!!
I am also very excited about, Oak Essential’s new clean deodorant that officially just launched. I haven’t found a clean aluminum-free deodorant that actually works for me and I’ve tried them all… but this one is truly unique and I’ve been really impressed with it. I learned that part of the reason *I thought* natural deodorants weren’t working for me is there’s a detox period we need to give our bodies time to balance the underarm microbiome, I don’t think I had ever truly committed to a couple of weeks to detox. Now I have and it’s working! And I also have learned that when it comes to natural deodorant you really need to bring it along with you in your bag and reapply throughout the day. Think about natural deodorant as you would reapply your chapstick. This new scent, Tansy is also really lovely and it glides so much smoother than other natural brands.
Oak Essential Summer Skin essentials of mine are: their body lotion, body balm (this balm warms up and melts into your skin for ultimate hydration and is my at-home spa night ritual after a shower), and the Cuir Rose candle is my latest obsession!
*My code for Oak Essentials is: ALICIA10

Okay for deodorant I cannot recommend Attitudes deodorant enough. It gets me through the postpartum sweats too. And it actually works, coming from someone who also seems to have tried everything..
